Code of Conduct & Ethics

Savitri Girls’ College uphold the highest standard of discipline integrity professionalism. The following codes of conduct are applicable to all students and faculty members of the institution. 

 

Code of Conduct for students

1.

Any damage to college property shall invite disciplinary action

2.

Students must not congregate in the corridor, speaks loudly near the classroom or office area

3.

The students must not receive personal visitors in the college during the college hours.

4.

Students are expected to attend all departmental events and other college functions.

5.

The college office is open to students for transacting business on all working days between stipulated hours. 

6.

Students are advised to consult college notice board and website for routine other important information.

7.

Students are responsible for their personal belongings including mobile, handbag and books etc. The college is nor responsible for the loss of personal property.

8.

Any change in the residential address of a students should be immediately communicated in the college office.

 

Students suffering from contagious diseases are advised not to attend college. 

9.

Students are advised to attend the classes regularly and not to leave the station during the session.

10.

Bullying other students especially making rude remarks on caste, class, religion, parents’ profession, locality, sexuality and disability. 

 

11.

Verbally or electronically intimidating others by use of body shaming, circulating fake news/images etc.

 

 

Code of Conduct for Faculty

1.

Faculty members should adhere to the service rules and norms of the institution. Faculty members are expected to work honestly in all aspects of assigned work.

Faculty members are instructed to comply with college policies and procedures which aim to promote students’ education and welfare.

Faculty members should be kind, caring, fair and committed to the best interest of the students. Faculty members should treat our students equally without considering family status and religion. 

4

Faculty members should acknowledge the uniqueness, individuality and specific needs of the students. Faculty members should not misguide under any circumstances.

5.

Faculty members are expected to develop cordial relationship with stakeholders

6.

Faculty members should not indulge in any illegal activities.
